The legal registration of the Pan African Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS (PABC) was finalised on 1 September 2008 and the organisation is now registered in South Africa as a Section 21 company. The first PABC annual general meeting will be held on 22-23 October 2008 in the VIP Hotel Maputo, Mozambique. This follows the approval of the registration of the PABC by delegates from across Africa at a conference held in Johannesburg in May 2008 when the first interim board of directors was elected.
